Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK®)


How IRM's courses map to version 2 of the BABOK®

The International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) is the publisher of the BABOK® Guide, a globally recognised standard for the practice of business analysis. The BABOK® describes:
  • Knowledge Areas - what a business analyst needs to understand and the tasks they must be able to perform.
  • Underlying Competencies – behaviour and knowledge that support effective performance.
  • Techniques – specific ways in which tasks can be performed.
The following IRM courses are endorsed by the International Institute of Business Analysis as being compliant with BABOK® V2:
